From June 1st to October 31st, it is just fly fishing allowed on the Margaree River. For this reason anglers from down the road and around the world come for the chance to hook one of these salmon. Over the years the river has hosted thousands of anglers, many of whom from a long-term relationship with the river, returning year after year.
